Hi, I’m Amanda Wiley.
Consider me your postpartum Midwife!! With 14 years of nursing experience and 8 years as a Certified Nurse Midwife and Women’s Health Nurse Practitioner, I’m passionate about supporting women beyond the early postpartum period. I believe you should have access to providers that understand pregnancy and postpartum for much longer than 6 weeks. I provide compassionate care for all of your postpartum needs. Additionally, I offer consulting for pregnant moms wanting to plan for their birth and postpartum period.
Get to know me!
I have two of my own kiddos, one 5 year old and one rambunctious 2 year old. I am a military spouse of 14 years. I am an avid reader and you can count on finding me with either my kindle in my hands or an audiobook in my ears. I am also a Mee-Maw hobby enthusiast! I love to crochet, knit, quilt, embroider… I am basically an 80 year old lady at heart! I love talking to other women and hearing their stories! I can not wait to meet you!
Our Approach

Postpartum depression and “baby blues”
Postpartum anxiety

I have flexible care options to make postpartum support more accessible for every family. I offer in-home visits (no need to pack up the kids), a calm and welcoming office in Spring Lake, North Carolina, or virtual care; my goal is to meet you where you are and provide the type of care that works best for you and your family. I strive to see patients within days—not weeks—and to provide direct, personal communication, so when you call, you’re speaking directly with me. Smaller client volumes allow for longer visits and add a more personal touch to the care given. No stressful waiting rooms or long call-back times. I focus on caring for families within the Fort Bragg military community and the surrounding area. I have access to on base housing for military families.
Why call Amanda? These are some of the reasons I have had the honor of meeting new moms:
Why am I crying so much?
My birth did not go the way I planned and I just want the opportunity to talk to someone with knowledge about birth to help me work through these feelings.
Breastfeeding is hard and I am struggling to find a routine that works for my family.
I feel scared and panicked all of the time. I can’t sleep because I am watching my baby sleep all of the time.
